Cecil Township Volunteer Fire Department Receives Safety Training Grant

The Cecil Township Volunteer Fire Department has received a $500 grant from Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania.

The grant is for safety equipment and training, fire department officials said.

Specifically, the donation will be used for safety rope and Rapid Intervention Team equipment.

"We truly appreciate the donation and our long time relationship working with Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania for training to keep the public safe," the department wrote on its Facebook page.
