Job Seekers Find Assistance at Frank Sarris Public Library

A free workshop is being offered this week.

Earlier this month, Lynn Hagan, the regional manager of Employment Plus, was on hand for a job fair at the Frank Sarris Public Library

Hagan met with local residents interested in finding or changing jobs, accepted applications and performed interviews for a number of positions. Events such as these, however, are not the only way in which libraries can aid with employment.

This week, Hagan will return to the library to offer a free  for honing your job search skills.

Of course, these things are in addition to the type of help you might expect to find at a library.

At the Frank Sarris Public Library, the collection includes resources pertaining to career guidance and books to assist with writing cover letters.

There are also computers for public use are readily available for job searching, resume preparation and more.
