Blotter: Teen Charged for Possessing Drug Paraphernalia, Man Charged with Public Drunkenness

Here are the latest reports from the Canonsburg Police Department.

Canonsburg police cited a teenager with possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic violations after he was stopped for reportedly running a red light early Monday on East Pike Street and Greenside Avenue. Police said the driver, Thomas Kencec, 18, and his passenger appeared nervous when stopped. That’s when an officer who approached the passenger-side of the car noticed a marijuana pipe in plain view lying in the center console. Kencec was asked to step out of the vehicle while officers searched it—finding two more pipes, according to a police report. The charges will proceed by summons. Good thing young people didn't use drugs 40-50 years during the 60's and 70's. :) Or is that where it all started and the kids are just following in their parents foot steps? Guess somethings never change. Still sad to see either way.   more ›
