The program begins at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Thanksgiving may be over, but holiday season celebrations are just getting started. Canonsburg Mayor David H. Rhome recently announced that an expanded live nativity will return to the Luksis Lot (adjacent to the borough building) to help celebrate the holiday season. The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church with a carol stroll to the live nativity. The nativity will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. At 7:15, the public is invited to walk back to the church with the carolers for refreshments, borough officials said. Luminaries lining both sides of Pike Street will light the way. The event is sponsored by the the Canonsburg Ministerium and Rhome.
