Muse Man Announces Bid for Cecil Township Board of Supervisors Seat

Frank Egizio said the public needs to be better represented.

A Muse man has announced his bid for a seat on the Cecil Township Board of Supervisors. Frank Egizio, of Muse, said he is running because the "public needs to be more adequately represented," according to his website. He noted that he is a life-long Cecil resident—a community he said he loves. "The thought of ever leaving this township has never entered my mind. After all, it is the number one place in Pennsylvania to raise a family," Egizio wrote on his campaign website. "Through the years, I have built character and a work ethic that nobody can take from me today, which I am very proud of." He was a paving foreman for 25 years, and received his NECEPT—or Northeast Center for Excellence in Pavement Technology—Certification from Penn State…

Donald - at this point you are just being a bully. I added a link to the Egizio story in the body of the story. This is the last time I will address the issue. If you'd like to call me sometime, please do. Thanks again.   more ›

Cecil Supervisors Elect New Chairman

The reorganization meeting was held this week.

The Cecil Township Board of Supervisors reorganized this week—with Supervisor Tom Casciola being voted in as the new chairman. Supervisor Andy Schrader will remain the vice chairman, and Manager Don Gennuso will remain the secretary/treasurer. Solicitor John Smith was also retained, although that motion passed 4-1, with Supervisor Elizabeth Cowden casting the dissenting vote. While the township will continue to retain the services of Gateway Engineers, the board may also seek to use another engineering firm for oil-and-gas related matters, Gennuso said. Meetings will stay the same, with supervisors meeting at 7 p.m. the first Monday of each month.

John Smith would not get my vote if I was on the board of supervisor. I agree with Elizabeth Cowden. Cecil Twp will not grow under John Smith advice. challenging act 13 was a big mistake.   more ›
