The Easter Egg hunt is the only "constant" in Canonsburg. The Saturday before Easter at 10 o'clock on the dot ,the fun begins. I have been going there for three generations, the first generation I was a participant. Thanks to our local firemen and the park committee and all volunteers involved. Hope the tradition carries on for three more generations. " Have A Blessed Easter! " Ruth O'Bosky   more ›

Local Girls Raise $1,600 For 2000 Turkeys

Carly Rhome and her friends helped raise money to help feed families who cannot afford a holiday meal.

And the sixth-grader said all that effort paid off, literally. She and her friends from Girl Scout Troop 53670 raised more than $1,600. Joining Carly were her friends and fellow scouts Allie Mitchell, Emma Minnis, Natalie Compel and Zoe Hutzel along with their adviser, Donna Compel. Carly said she plans to help with fundraising efforts for 2000 Turkeys next year, as she did last…
