Canonsburg Man Arrested on Drug Charges

His bail was set at $50,000.

Editor's note: Information about Mr. Chronister's preliminary hearing was corrected at 11:53 a.m. Savvy police work helped lead to the arrest Friday of a suspected drug dealer in Canonsburg, Mayor David H. Rhome said. Canonsburg police charged Eric Chronister, 29, with possession of drugs, possession of drugs with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested Friday after police served a search warrant on his home and discovered pounds of marijuana compressed in bricks, as well as paraphernalia, the Observer-Reporter indicated.
