VIDEO: Canon-Mac Wrestlers Come Home to Impromptu 'Parade'
Police and fire vehicles escorted the team back into town this past weekend after the wrestlers won their second straight state championship.
Emergency lights were flashing and sirens were blaring in Canonsburg this past weekend, as area police and fire personnel escorted Canon-McMillan High School wrestling team back home from winning the state championship. A fireman from Muse compared it to an impromptu parade that was put together in a matter of a half-hour. "(I'm) proud to be part of such a wonderful community that is so supportive of kids doing good things!" said Holly Martin, who shot the video.
