UPDATED: Two Dead in I-70 Crash; Tractor Trailer Driver Jailed on $1 Million Bond
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said in a release Saturday evening that both victims died from multiple injuries after an accident just after noon.
Two people have died in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in South Strabane Township Saturday, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said in a statement. The names of the victims have been withheld pending the notification of their families, but both died from multiple injuries, according to the release. “The victim was a passenger of a Dodge sedan traveling eastbound on I-70. A tractor-trailer, which was traveling westbound, crossed the medial and struck the victim’s vehicle, driving it through the guardrail and over an embankment,” Warco said in a statement.
