Blotter: Man Jailed for DUI and Disorderly Conduct, Theft Reported

A man listing a Canonsburg address was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, disorderly conduct and driving without a license by Cecil Township police Saturday following a vehicle crash late Friday. Police said officers were dispatched to 274 Muse-Bishop Road, where they encountered James Hookey standing behind a wrecked Chevy Colorado truck. That’s when officers said Hookey stated, “I did it. I took the vehicle and I’m drunk.” Police said he had allegedly taken the vehicle without permission from Brianna McMasters of Canonsburg—information the woman confirmed to officers.
