Canonsburg Golfers Take Top Honors at National Kidney Foundation Cadillac Golf Classic

The finals were held this past weekend.

Showing poise under pressure, Michael Cavanagh and Mike Sabota of Canonsburg and their team bested the competition at the nation’s premiere golf course over the weekend. Cavanagh and Sabota were part of the Pittsburgh-based foursome who finished in first place at the National Kidney Foundation Cadillac Golf Classic National Finals. The team shot rounds of 61-62-61 for a three-day, 184-total to win the 2013 tournament held this past weekend. The Canonsburg pair were joined by Tom Ali, a board member at NKF, of Venetia, and Bob Macosko of Bethel Park.
