Venetia Man Headed to Trial on Criminal Trespass, Other Charges

A Venetia man who was jailed on criminal trespass and other charges after allegedly entering a North Strabane home uninvited last month waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Tuesday. District Judge Jay Weller also changed his bail. While it had been set at $25,000, Weller on Tuesday released Robert Cole, 26, on his own recognizance, according to online court records. North Strabane police also had charged Cole, with loitering and prowling at night, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, online court records indicate.
