Stella DiMatteo, 94, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 in Excella Health Care. She was born Oct. 5, 1918 in Burgettstown, a daughter of the late Joseph Szczerbienski. She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish, Canonsburg. Prior to her retirement, Stella worked in the dietary department of Western Center. She also had worked at Mt. Lebanon Country Club and Beck's Restaurant. Stephen T. Sedora Sr., 71, formerly of Canonsburg, died Monday, Feb.25, 2013 in his home. He was born March 28, 1941 in Canonsburg, a son of Stephen and Anna Shuba Sedora. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a maintance mechanic for both McGraw Edison and Cooper Industries. He was a member of the French Club in Canonsburg and enjoyed fishing, and small engine repair. Surviving are his son, Stephen Sedora Jr., of Girard; daughter, Kelly Coleman, of Canonsburg, and two nephews, Frank Soblit and Joey Soblit. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nada Soblit. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Sollon Funeral Home at 30 E. Anna Jenkins Windsheimer, 88, of Canonsburg, formerly of McDonald, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 in Manor Care. She was born October 7, 1924 in McDonald, a daughter of William and Sara Jenkins. Mrs. Windsheimer graduated from Cecil High School in 1943. Prior to retirement, she worked as a dispatcher for the Motor Pool of the United States Army 911th in Oakdale. She was a resident of Canonsburg since 1989 and previously lived in McDonald and was member of the First Presbyterian Church of McDonald. Her husband, Edward H. Windsheimer, died Feb. 14, 2001 Surviving are one son, Eddy Windsheimer with whom she made her home, one grandson, Ian Windsheimer of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews.
