Stella DiMatteo, 94, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 in Excella Health Care. She was born Oct. 5, 1918 in Burgettstown, a daughter of the late Joseph Szczerbienski. She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish, Canonsburg. Prior to her retirement, Stella worked in the dietary department of Western Center. She also had worked at Mt. Lebanon Country Club and Beck's Restaurant. Stephen T. Sedora Sr., 71, formerly of Canonsburg, died Monday, Feb.25, 2013 in his home. He was born March 28, 1941 in Canonsburg, a son of Stephen and Anna Shuba Sedora. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a maintance mechanic for both McGraw Edison and Cooper Industries. He was a member of the French Club in Canonsburg and enjoyed fishing, and small engine repair. Surviving are his son, Stephen Sedora Jr., of Girard; daughter, Kelly Coleman, of Canonsburg, and two nephews, Frank Soblit and Joey Soblit.
