Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said Steven Mark Lusher died in a vehicle crash in Independence Township Tuesday morning.
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco has identified the victim of a one-vehicle crash on Sugar Plum Road in Independence Township Tuesday morning as Steven Mark Lusher, 42. According to a release, Lusher was the operator and sole occupant of a Dodge truck that was traveling southbound on Sugar Run Road. The vehicle left the right side of the roadway, traveled along an embankment, and came to rest on its roof on the roadway—ejecting the man from the truck, Warco said. The crash was discovered by a passing motorist, Warco said in a release. Warco said Lusher died from multiple injuries suffered in the crash.
