The team won Saturday over Upper St. Clair.
Congratulations to the Canon-McMillan boys soccer team, which won 1-0 over Upper St. Clair Saturday night—making them WPIAL champs, according to the team. It is the first such championship in school history. The winning goal was made by Josh Kruczek, according to one of the team's booster parents, who was among many who posted congratulatory notes on Facebook. The team next faces rival Peters Township in the first round of the state tournament this Tuesday at a time and place to be determined.
