Canonsburg Man Charged With DUI in Cecil
The charge stems from an incident early Sunday morning.
Cecil Township police charged a Canonsburg man with driving under the influence following a traffic stop at Baker and Morganza roads early Sunday morning. Police said officers observed a silver Saab turn left on Morganza without using a turn signal just after 1 a.m. Sunday. Police then initiated a traffic stop and asked the driver, William S. Sibilia, 36, if he had consumed any alcohol that evening. He reportedly told officers, “I’m not gonna lie, I had a few drinks,” according to a police report. Officers said they noted the smell of alcoholic beverages emanating from the man, and that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy.
