Snow Expected Today, Freezing Rain Tomorrow
The National Weather Service said snow showers are expected around rush hour.
No need to scurry off to the grocery store to buy the obligatory milk, bread and toilet paper: National Weather Service Meteorologist Lee Hendricks said today’s snowfall shouldn’t be a big deal. With light snow this morning and a chance of about an inch this afternoon, driver’s should nonetheless exercise caution on the roads during rush hour—which is when the flakes should really begin flying. Also on tap today? Wind gusts of up to 35 mph, he said. Another inch of the white stuff is expected overnight, when the temperature is expected to hover in the teens. But tomorrow?
